What is Pulsing Massage?
Often termed the Tai Chi of massage, Pulsing is a full body therapy that can be given through clothing or onto skin with equally good effect. This makes it perfect for anyone who wants relief from aches and pains without the need to undress.
A Pulsing session can last from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, but generally 45 minutes is enough to achieve a therapeutic effect. In this time, the therapist will gently stretch and rotate the client’s legs and arms and apply gentle pressure and rocking movements to the body as a whole; in order to detect and release areas of tension and discomfort.
Who is it for?
Pulsing is extremely effective for all age groups, body shapes and sizes. Children especially love Pulsing and find it playful, yet calming. Older people too, can benefit from increased mobility and vitality in weary limbs.
Because of its gentle and non-invasive nature, Pulsing is particularly suitable for pregnant women,* people with muscular, skin or skeletal problems and those with a limited range of movement. And because it combines massage-type techniques with soft rocking movements it can also be a source of comfort and relief to people suffering from depression and anxiety.
*Please note that Pulsing is suitable for pregnant women in the mid trimester of pregnancy only.
